Reissued May 2003. A second recording of this show was found, and it's pretty different from the first, and more commonly found one. Both are mono.
Tape 1: This recording was mastered from a cassette copy of the show. The best channels on the tape were used for mastering, which were the right channel for tracks 1-4, and the left channel for tracks 5 and 6. The drum solo is missing from Perpetual Change (track 5) on this copy, as it apparently is on all copies of the recording. The cut was re-edited for this edition of the recording, to make a less noticeable transition.
Tape 2: This recording is also mono, but the tape was played on a stereo deck, so some differences in the two channels were found. For most of the remaster, the two channels were combined to smooth out gaps in one channel or the other. The first few minutes of Roundabout are damaged but play well enough to be enjoyed. Some reverb and other "tricks" were used to smooth out the rough sound of the bad tape. There is a short gap after the first verse of the song, and the reverb fills it nicely. The tape quality improves dramatically after Roundabout. [SMT May 2003]
